This is a directory of all the biochemical tests currently offered by the laboratories in the Metabolic Biochemistry.

How to use the directory

Selecting "Browse Analytes" will reveal a page with an alphabetical list of the analytes. Select one and a list will be provided of all the laboratories offering this test. You can then click on the name of the laboratory to get details of the contacts for each laboratory.
Alternatively you can select "Browse Laboratories" which shows a page with an alphabetical list of laboratories. Selecting a laboratory will give a list of all the tests it offers.
Another option may be to select the "Free Text Search". Enter all or part of the name of test you require and click "Find Assay". A list will be produced of the tests offered in the various laboratories with that name or part of name. This can be very useful were alternative names exists for some tests.

Molecular Genetic Tests

Only biochemical tests are shown in the directory. Many of our laboratories also offer molecular genetic as well as biochemical tests for metabolic disease. These can be found in the Genetic Testing Network Directory hosted by the Clinical Molecular Genetics Society at http://www.cmgs.org/Lab%20Directory/lab_directory.htm.
